JBThis is about the 10th time I have painted the Santa Catalina Mountains (Tucson). My greens are sap + quin gold , the browns are raw sienna + burnt sienna, the darks are ultramarine + burnt sienna, and the highlights are titanium white. I painted the foliage with a fan brush— stippling, sliding, sometimes using the flat of the brush, sometimes the corner, and sometimes the “knife” edge.
