@p @lonelyowl13 @ins0mniak @vic Well yeah Go seems somewhat better at actual portability too even though it kind of seems to push Plan9-isms on everyone, but I meant just stuff like creating binaries for {x86_64,arm32,arm64}-{linux,windows} rather easily, which seems doable in C without code changes but getting all those targets to work can be quite a chore.
