@Jonny @kf01 @Xenophon @Crux_Invictus I don't think it's cyclical, or if it is that's beyond my control or power. A lot of nature has predictable repeating patterns, so I could see cataclysm being another of those. If it exists it's from circumstance rather than metaphysical reasons imo— perhaps we get too big for our own britches and nature slaps us down.
