- Embed this noticeI think it's excess sugar. A few years back I cut out nearly all bread, soda, pasta, etc ... went from 150lbs down to 135lbs .. stayed that way for like 4+ years ... coming back to America, it's so fucking difficult to find low sugar/carb products. I don't thinl corn-syrup is any worse, but because it's so cheap, manufactures just put in way more than if they were using cane sugar.
I kinda stopped caring and have been going back up over the years. But the healthiest I've been was when I really limited my sugar/starch intake. I'd like to go back, but breaking sugar addiction in the US is insanely difficult.
