Kit Rhett Aultman@kilroy_was_here ah, got it. Yeah, those are dangerous situations and it's best to avoid them. In my truck, the 7100 remote head sits on a movable goose neck but is basically right next to the air conditioning controls and I don't touch the VFO. I just leave it on two repeaters and the touchscreen switches between them at the corners so I don't need to look. The mic sits in a cup holder. So everything is within a no-look reach.
