@leespringfield1903 @BroDrillard @sickburnbro S-400's would be completely unnecessary for Iran. Iran has had heavily modified operational S-300PMU-2 systems since 2017 (those were the direct predecessor to S-400s). It's rumored they received shipments of the 48N6DM missiles back in 2020, which make their S-300PMU-2's just as capable as an S-400, especially for intercepting hypersonic weapons (which Israel does not have).

Russia did send Murmansk-BN electronic warfare systems to Iran several months ago, which is probably how the Iranians were able to counter the Israeli F-35's.
