wet forest moon folkloristi worked for Klamath Riverkeeper when RFK Jr was less slightly bonks and was the long time president of the Waterkeeper Alliance, which protected clean water by suing over the Clean Water Act (a major tactic in Klamath dam removal, btw). I’m still close friends with other people who were in that movement and we’re hoping some fraction of RFK’s 20+ yr commitment to clean water is still in there, but it really feels like a darth Vader situation
