I stand by my framing; what we’re seeing happening across the globe is essentially a hostile corporate takeover of democratic institutions.

As inequality grows and corporations consolidate more power than many nations, the most logical way to ensure continued growth is to capture governments & remove barriers to profit like environmental laws, labour & health & safety regulations, etc.

They intend to dismantle any means we have of opposing them.
