Like I said, I (and most people on here I would guess) understand all that, but the average normie author isn't going to think that far ahead, or want to put in even that much effort. Any solution to the current issues is, unfortunately, going to have to be able to compete in the realm of convenience and apparent "security", because that's all people like that care about. I can go on and on about how much better something like Proton is over Gmail, and all I get is "yeah but I know Google though and it's super easy!!!". A lot of these people don't want to be saved, unfortunately. :zt_sad:
