@lanodan@queer.hacktivis.me Since the file is updated only when necessary, and this bootstrapping approach is to recreate history, we can't shorten the path, sadly.

I thought it was impractical too! However hopefully as the language stablizes, the number of intermediate versions is greatly reduced (only 1 from 0.12 to 0.13!). As a result, I don't think like that now :)
