contrasocialSure, I understand, not all christians are homophobic either. But their religion is, so my position is always to push back on narratives that try to frame christianity in that way simply because some individuals are decent. Similarly with communism I just don't see it ending well for lgbt people.
It's a criticism of the ideology, not the people.
