13 year-old Bana and her sister Batul, 16, were looking down at the events through their bedroom window when a bullet fired by an Israeli soldier struck Bana in the chest and killed her.

“I suddenly heard her scream: “Mom! Mom!” At the same time, I heard a single shot. The bullet came in through the window, broke the glass and went straight into my sister’s heart.
