- Embed this noticeHis visor went out three times. The panoramic display went out. He ejected as the manual said he should. And they don't dispute any of this, he did everything by the book. But the people who built the plane, Lockheed Martin, sent their safety engineers to investigate.
They claim the standby flight display and backup communications "remained basically functional". Basically?!? WTF? Either they were functional, or they weren't. Why did they feel the need to add that unusual qualifier? And the report says... pilot error.
Lockheed Martin is doing damage control after one of it's $100M game consoles crashed. Can't even fly near a thunderstorm, LOL. Speaking of lightning, whoever wrote the report can't even spell the plane's name (it has nothing to do with weight reduction)
