@mischievoustomato @Dudebro @Goalkeeper tbh I think there's been an evolution overtime that's somehow weeded out a lot of the maladjustment. I have a close friend who's a lot like me but he's big into strength and fitness. You'd never know he likes to lay on his neck and watch anime from appearances.
To that effect the Internet is both to blame for the phenomenon and also responsible for correcting it in many regards.
The utterly slothful fat NEET shutin is a dying breed being replaced by the switch NEET (I'm using the acronym loosely) that is still mostly a functioning human being at least on the surface.
