If Hitler had just stopped, and declared peace with Britain and Russia, we wouldn't view him as anything special today. He'd be the same as Stallin in Russia or Xi in China. After all, China has slave camps today and Stallin killed way more of his own people than Hitler did.

Hitler was also nothing without Prescot Bush (father of HW Bush) of American Standard Oil (that made millions off the war), the Royal Family of the Netherlands (that made millions off the war), Ford motor company who made the railroad tracks in Germany (and also .. made millions off the war). None of those people were ever held to account for the millions (billions in today's money) they made from selling death.

All these people who think they're stopping Hitler don't realize that we're all always backing enablers because they're built into the modern industrial society. Every solar panel you buy. Ever gallon of gas. Ever kg of GMO food. It all goes to feed a machine that wants us dead.
