Also, inflation is back down. People think that someone is going to magically make prices go back down. Stopping inflation will only make prices stop going up.

Competition *might* make prices go back down, but that's less likely under the new administration. Corporations will likely keep prices, raised under inflation high to reap more profits.

<sigh> This is what they voted for.
