Killer*Mule@PNS I hate to say it, but many of our decisions as parents these days (myself included) create weak children by not making them cover more responsibility. The world is a tough place even when times are good, surviving in bad times is a psychological exercise as much as anything. Tough love sometimes is needed to learn hard lessons you wouldn't otherwise get. But in that scenario, at least a person who ultimately does care is involved.
