@sinbad ah be careful with that. I had a laptop with a failing SSD and after a while, it started giving disk errors on boot. Worked absolutely fine once booted, but the errors kick in before acpi does, so leaves your fans on full and the screen turned on etc until you press a key to continue the boot.

I got up SO many mornings to find Windows had spontaneously rebooted for updates, despite sleep mode, and just left the laptop burning up all night 😩
