CohenTheBlue@ma_ui @sergiodomeyko @palin @Strandjunker I don't think that's the case. A lot of those dictatorships were installed by the US or other meddling. Look at Zapatistas in Mexico or the long democratic traditions in many latam countries. Where the tradition hasn't been broken, there's no more authoritarian leaders than in the "west" in my opinion.
