EricJ@steeph @alcinnz off the top of my head, I'm thinking protectionism/tariffs: make it more expensive trading with US, start build our own (in my case, EU) stuff.
To further reference the software world, it's perhaps not ideal that so much of our IT infrastructure is in the hands of a handful of American gigacorps.
Maybe more concrete, take the Russian invasion seriously, stepping up our support of Ukraine. US isn't a reliable ally here.
