Unless you interact with about 100 million people, the "most people I know" thing isn't representative. Anecdotes are not data.
80% support is not "disappointing performance." In any normal system, that's an astronomical level of support.
Most Hispanic people in the US, are white. Hispanic people are not a monolith, and Hispanic is not a race.
I'm not "berating" white people. I'm pointing out who voted for who, and who will vote for who in the next election.
