Susan Kaye Quinn 🌱(she/her)@phaedral this is *definitely* a YOU thing--first, the shadow in the Ep1 poster is a prediction of the future not a callback to the past (like the Harris poster) & the Harris poster is a positive illustration not a menacing one like Star Wars. It's literally got nothing in common except the visual use of a shadow, which TONS of other artists have used as a literary technique.
It's also weird to say a callback to Ruby Bridges is "infantalizing" given the insane courage of that little girl.
