The trees are densely coated with frost so that they appear silvery white most of the way down, bottoms are a bit darker. I think it's a mix of spruce and tamarack- funny that I can't remember right now though I pass this place all the time-it tells you how thick the frost is that is not easy to tell if there are tamaracks /larches in there with no needles!
