anemone@teratology@the.asbestos.cafe i dont think kids should be getting surgeries and i think any medical intervention should be a last resort, but for kids who aren't going to grow out of it, forcing them to just suffer through it for all their formative years is cruel, and a lot of the effects of puberty aren't reversible.
