The entire summer Newsom was up for recall, there wasn't a single power shutoff.

It's very obvious it's political, and intended to force people to get solar (don't get me started on the insane legal issues I've seen regarding Solar contracts / installers). It's not worth it yet.

Even worse, there's no private right of action. The courts have decided that the Public Utilities Comission has sole jurisdiction.
