Gurman's latest missive about the Mac mini as a gaming console has me thinking:

HAHA no it doesn't.

Apple is never, ever going to make a system that game developers, publishers, and gamers will *ever* flock to.

Doesn't matter how capable the hardware is or well-tuned the software is. Apple changes its mind, deprecates APIs, and ratfucks the market. It's happened over and over again.

Apple is not now, and never has been, a company that takes games seriously as part of its core mission.
