Nemo_bis 🌈@egonw The number of former library books in the BWB-provided IA scans suggests that either BWB or some of their partners received tens or hundreds of thousands of books deaccessioned by Dutch libraries https://archive.org/details/internetarchivebooks?sort=-publicdate&and%5B%5D=language%3A%22Dutch%22 and of course there's the recent Leiden university donation https://blog.archive.org/2024/10/08/internet-archive-to-receive-400000-dissertations-from-leiden-university/ but that also goes in the direction of outsourcing library activities to the IA without correspondingly adjusting the budgets.
