@Humpleupagus @Alex_Linder Leaving aside the obvious answer (because Jews said so), it is a little strange that doctors would allow it. Doctors generally don't like prescribing medicines to people who are also ingesting other medicines because it can cause all sorts of medical problems.

The idea of adding fluoride to the water supply everyone drinks from for "health reasons" is, medically speaking, about as sound as adding antibiotics or Viagra to the water supply for "health reasons".
