I think it would depend on the nature of the law.

A law could be very narrow as to the causes and damages available, which could make a difference.

For example, if there was a cause for infidelity with some sort of damage award, women would support it because they think that men are a bunch of cheaters.

If the causes are not well defined, I think men would be more likely to support it.
