@LawrenceGerald Yup. You can have a good pitbull, but at whst cost? How would you reliably know that yours isn't hyper aggressive and inbred with concentrated fighter genes? There's so many of them out there that are hyper aggressive, and you have the "bad day" factor that every single dog will have at some point in its life (illness, injury, age) coupled with a stupidly strong bite and muscularity. I can't even fathom choosing that over a shepherd as a family dog, particularly since those are incredibly smart and similarly powerful but with much greater temperaments.
