this is what i always loved about reading materialist feminists like Irigaray and Wittig who refused this whole philosophy based on exclusive moral dualism as metaphysicalized misogyny. also why it really never surprised me to learn how misogynist so many gnostics thought women were inherently hylic bc their men's lust for them trapped them in this world. some takes never go away
