q66@lanodan @famfo it had sata, iirc the firmware was not capable of booting from nvme, so it needed sata at least for /boot partition (obviously rootfs can be on anything... one of those days i'll post my power mac g5 with 10G networking, nvme root, usb3, and opengl4 gpu)
