araly@eniko for sure, and i've also seen people in mastodon emotionally invested in seeing bluesky fail, as well as other platforms. I don't really understand the animosity people have to other platforms in general. (except for twitter I guess ^^)
bluesky failing wouldn't prove anything, and neither mastodon failing would. it would just mean people have to pack and move again
