Also why is it that every time something happens to graf, it is literally someone else' fault? I have never seen him apologize for a single thing or admit fault to anything. It is literally always somebody else' fault. Everyone else is always the evil one, everything graf does is entirely justified with shoddy reasoning when he does it.
I don't believe she made him think it was possible to get back together, I think she was trying to set him down easily because three years of being an element in someone's life is quite a lot to cope with and she has the empathy to understand this, and he misinterpreted this as "we can still fix this." Because of course he would, it is in his favour.
