@realcaseyrollins well its mostly wake up, cram caffiene, sift through AI paper (which is basically post-grad level mathematics), repeat, then sort of zone out or pass out because there's nothing to look forward to.

other things are either just a different kind of labor grind, or layers of penances (ex. figure out how to compile a shit on linux, then refit it in the distros packaging format, then deal with upstream)
