the free software movement is fundamentally political as it calls out the injustice of user subjugation through the software we use to do our computing. even the development of FLOSS ends up being detrimental to users when developers fail to take into account that user-subjugating software is harmful. only those who are for the status quo can afford to pretend political neutrality.
