It appears that Apple doesn't support javascript fullscreen API, even if your website is installed as a PWA.

I suppose this is a security thing so a site can't fake the user's phone desktop or something.

(If you are on an iPad it apparently partially works but puts an annoying unremovable widget on the fullscreen.
