Susanna@blogdiva What was unusual about Helene is that it was so poorly organized plus surrounded by tons of hot air, which allowed a huge amount of moisture to latch on. This is a climate change thing. The remnants of hurricanes follow this path all the time, but they’re usually tiny rainstorms by then, barely even depressions. I’ve been through many. Helene was supercharged & didn’t peter out before it got to us!
