shuro@hj @a1ba I'd say network effect (everyone knows it), hardware support (good luck installing non-windows on random laptop and getting everything working) and backwards compatibility (less of thing nowadays but still matters).
Many companies would love to switch to something from Windows because it costs an arm and a leg.
