He also claimed that he didn’t know a Category 5 hurricane could come on to land:Before we begin, I would like to tell you that there’s a very violenthurricane that’s coming down the line. GOD BLESS EVERYONE!” And he probably should remember this particular hurricane — Hurricane Dorian — because this was the hurricane where he altered the NOAA forecast map with a Sharpie to “prove” that Dorian was going to affect Alabama especially hard, when the opposite was true.
