Don't take my word for it, don't take ANYONE's word for it. There is so much terrible advice out there that you shouldn't trust anyone.

What you need to be asking yourself is:
1. How many years do you need to put in before you hit career paydirt?
2. How much time do you have before the kind of husband you want is not going to be interested?
3. How many kids do you want be able to have? -> By 35, the door starts closing on having kids.

Sorry to lay this on you, these are uncomfortable questions. But there are so many women out there who just refuse to address these topics and they end up 40 year old cat ladies ranting on twitter about how their life is an absolute living nightmare.
