Most friends and family members’ intentions are good, but sometimes the execution leaves caregivers feeling let down. When trying to encourage a caregiver, try avoid some of the most common pitfalls. Remember, that the caregiver may be tired and overwhelmed, so what is meant to be a compliment can be interpreted as criticism if not framed carefully.
