Encouraging a family caregiver is about expressing support and appreciation for the physical and emotional effort that goes into caring for a loved one. Most friends and family members’ intentions are good, but sometimes the execution leaves caregivers feeling let down. When trying to encourage a caregiver, try avoid some of the most common pitfalls.
