@sun @relentless_eduardo you can easily apply for a 24 hour visa or something like that yeah, although I dont know if its recommended given the fact its China, something could happen.

I had a 10 hour layover in Shanghai and never left the airport, everything was closed when I arrived and stayed closed by the time I left. No food, no shops, no entertainment, just a few vending machines with not much in them, and of course you have to exchange your money to use them.

I spent my time walking all over the place and getting into areas that I should not go into lol, at one point I was in a little room that could be exited towards the actual landing area through a door lol

Also people would smoke secretly in the toilets.
