Paul ChambersSorry, just saw this thread. When I get to the computer I'll take a peek around. I know I tried to upgrade pip earlier and ran into an issue, (nothing to do with fedifetcher). Was going to troubleshoot that later.
You might try
pip install --upgrade xxhash
And see what happen.
