@theothersimo @bart -- Here is a thought experiment you should consider:
If the US Federal Tax income was coming mostly from businesses in the 1950's, and there has been a major shift in automation and robotics in manufacturing and customer service, etc.
And there has been a major shift in tax income away from corporations and onto the workers...
So if corporations aren't paying taxes and the burden is shifted to the workers, and the corporations are getting rid of workers...
