In my old #SoCal hometown, I hadn't been to the library in nearly twenty years (despite walking past it nearly every day when I was "home"). Partly because they'd pretty much stopped buying new books due to county-wide budget cuts and partly because I was often on-call and I didn't want to get sent out of state while a library book was still checked out.

Also, as Son_2 reached adulthood, there was really no need for me to take him to the library.

In my new hometown in #SWMO, I have only occasionally left the house, so I haven't seen the local library.
