@Caoimhe Some years ago I was on a train, and took out my phone to read stuff. It was resting on my leg, screen curtain on. After swwiping and tapping for 5+ minutes, the guy across from me said something like "It's clearly dead, love. Here, I've got a mobile charger you can use." and held out a cable to me. Not dead. Not plugging anything in either.
I regularly have to explain the privacy thing, and a phone with a working touchscreen showing nothing seems to baffle people too.
