@ZRDR_DelRio @SuperLutheran @pepsi_man It felt forced to me. Like there was an expectation that more people should go up (there was). Maybe they should've, but it + hellfire and brimstone preaching and hypocrisy made me hate it. This isn't me trying to pooh-pooh charismatic churches, but I do think they're vulnerable performative fakery. Maybe in hindsight it was discernment that pushed me out the door, but I kept running because I was scared to go elsewhere.
