tinydoctor@foolishowl I've had a #beard for almost my entire adult life--more than fifty years. If I shave it off, my wife says I look like a serial killer, and people who've known me for decades will walk right past the beardless stranger with no recognition whatsoever. I used to be careless about keeping it trimmed, but I've become paradoxically more vain in old age, so I found a barber who cuts it the way I like it. I don't like shaving, and I don't like the feel of my bare face.
